Foothills Guide Service

We offer guided fishing trips and hikes in the Smoky Mountain area, including Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg.

The Great Smoky Mountain National Park offers one of the last wild trout habitats in the Eastern United States. The surrounding rivers and streams also offer outstanding smallmouth bass fishing. There are over 700 miles of crystal clear streams and rivers.

Hikers have even more to choose from. The Smokies cover over 500,000 acres of the most bio-diverse habitat in the world (1500 varieties flowering plants, 130 varieties of tree, 50 varieties of ferns, 200 varieties of birds, 80 varieties of reptiles and 70 varieties of fish.). There are over 100,000 acres of virgin timber with mammoth oak, poplar, spruce, hemlock and fraser firs. In 1976 the park was designated an international Biosphere Reserve.

All this can be overwhelming to someone who only has a few days to visit. I offer my knowledge and expertise of over 40 years hiking & fishing this area to make your visit a memorable one. Your hiking or fishing trip can be tailored to meet your interests. Reserve now to make your outdoor adventure a reality.
